HWS is an organisation that specialises in running different types of hobby events for fans of all things Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror.  It also publishes books under HWS Press.

Lavecon is run in partnership with Lave Radio and Fantasycon in partnership with the British Fantasy Society.

Members of the team have been involved in volunteering their time and expertise to events for more than twenty years. Helping others run live role-playing events, computer gaming weekends computer game conventions, birthday parties, hen and stag do activities, scout camps, boating weekends, charity events and more.
